Cristina Marino

Cristina Marino is a designer and researcher with a PhD in Management, Production and Design. Her work operates at the intersection of magazine studies, editorial design, and design research, with a focus on magazines as cultural infrastructures and knowledge-producing platforms. She coordinates Graphicus, an editorial and research project conceived as a critical magazine and curatorial space for contemporary visual cultures, connecting academic research, design practice, and editorial experimentation. She is a contract lecturer and researcher at the University of Parma, where she teaches and curates workshop-based courses in editorial and publishing design. Her interests include editorial design, visual cultures, and the role of magazines in shaping critical discourse and interdisciplinary research.
